Summer

So it's been forever since I've written a blog. I've experienced so much over here. I've had my 19th birthday in Australia, that's one thing off my bucket list. I've had Christmas in the middle of summer. And I've had fireworks in the city of Melbourne on new years eve with a group of amazing people. I've have the pleasure of going to the city of Adelaide for a week and seeing some amazing things and making some amazing friends.
I've had some really rough times these last few months and am really growing in my relationship with God. My time here is over half way done as I get ready to leave to PNG for the final stage of DTS ( discipleship training school ) we will be over there for 6 weeks sharing the Gospel and the love of God with the people there.
A lot is on my mind right now and I'm learning a lot about dependance on the Lord on not on myself or other people. Being away from home is really hard and meeting people and having to say goodbye is equally painful. It really makes me realize how we need to treasure the people we know in life and not take any of them or the time with them for granite. God made humans need each other for a reason and it's a beautiful thing! I'm loving meeting new people and seeing new things but I'm really excited to come back to north America.
